A training on the energy audit was organized within the framework of the Algerian-German Energy Partnership for a group of energy auditors from the Sonatrach group, from 25 to 30 November 2018 in Oran and Arzew.

Given by a mixed German-Algerian experts team, the training was structured around two main thematic blocks: A theoretical one, which contained the main themes relating to the aspects of the energy use in a production chain. The second one focused on the practical use of energy audit techniques, by applying transversal technologies and efficiency calculations of site during various visits of a petrochemical complex.

The training contributed to the development theoretical and practical capacities of one pilot group of Sonatrach energy auditors by conducting a practical pilot energy audit of an industrial facility.
